Perfect balance between detailed and warmth sound. Great imaging and anolog sounding dac. Better than the Denafrips Pontus 12th-1 that had before. More dynamic than the Pontus, it can rock solid, great bass also. I wish to have the same dac without the preamp section witch is a waste of money for me and the trouble to turn the volume at max every time I start the dac. Great services, Eric is very nice, he answer all my questions before I buy and shipping was so fast, very impressive, great buy.
The Divinity was purchased for my home office system after listening to a YouTube reviewer Tharbamar . I have since added a Liav DDC and IFI Power Elite that took the Divinities performance that comes very close to the Holo May I use in my main system I brought in to my office for comparison,
With the DDC and IFI power supply removed from the Divinity the differences are very evident,..So anyone looking to get a Huge Jump in performance with the Divinity get a Liav DDC and IFI power elite ,..
This one truly feels like a real R2R. It completely eliminates the digitized noise of a conventional Delta Sigma chip, achieving a realistic and organic sound, along with a massive soundstage where every element, every instrument, is perfectly placed and separated, without ever losing an ounce of detail or clarity.
After comparing it to several renowned DACs (Gustard, Topping, Denafrips, and Holo), for me, there's no comparison. It's in another dimension.
I recently purchased the Divinity as an alternative to the Denafrips Pontus 15th. I was sure that I would hear a distinct difference between my Ares 12th and the Divinity. Oh boy, is that an understatement! Now I know what reviewers mean when they talk about lack of listening fatigue. This DAC, even before it has been broken in, is a considerable improvement over the Ares 12th in every aspect of audio you can experience -incredible value for the price. You will not be disappointed!
Improve greatly my musical experience.Need lot of Time for break in.No définition in the high frequency before 150/200 hours.After that période sounds great.
